Training Centre VET Courses Expression of Interest Forms

Application

Students interested in undertaking a course at one of the Training Centres, must discuss the options with their school to ensure it is the right course and pathway for them, ensuring it has relevance to their future career pathway. 22nd August

Students must follow the application procedures by meeting submission dates.

Please note, submission of an expression of interest, does not guarantee a place in the course. Sometimes courses do not run if there is insufficient demand.; and sometimes there is not a sufficient number of places available to meet student demand for the course.

1	Students to complete the following: TCVET Notification Google Form; AND TCVET Expression of interest Form (Word) and submit it to your school VET / EVET Coordinator. Schools to ensure an appropriate pathway has been selected, particularly in relation to maths aptitude for Electrotechnology; and appropriate vaccinations to undertake Human Services courses. Schools to endorse and confirm TCVET applications with the Training Centres and provide a copy of the EOI to the Training Centres by close of business 22nd August 2025.	22nd August 2025
2	Schools to notify students if they have been successful in gaining entry into the course, and issue a letter of offer. Students will need to complete and submit their Offer of Acceptance Form. Once the offer is accepted, the course cost will be added to the student's school fees in Term 1 2026. Schools to confirm offers have been accepted and notification of any withdrawals by close of business 22nd November 2025.	22nd November 2025

Training Centre Fees

In most cases, Training Centre courses attract an additional cost to participate. The cost of accessing a Training Centre course is added to a student's school fees in Term 1 2026 for one-year courses; and Term 1 2026 and Term 2 2027 for two-year courses.

The cost will depend on the unit value of the course and is applied annually in Term 1 school fees. These are the costs for students enrolled at a school within Sydney Catholic Schools:

- 1 unit: $175
- 2 units: $350
- 3 units: $525
- 4 units: $700
