Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in various work contexts in the music industry.

They may work in music performance, sound production, music creation and composition, music business.

The job roles that relate to this qualification may include assistant sound technician, assistant music manager, musician, sound assistant and road crew.

There is no mandatory work placement for this course.

Eligibility for Qualification

Nationally Registered Training Logo The Certificate III in Music requires 11 units, comprised of 3 core units and 8 elective units.

Students will undertake six units of competency in the 120-hour course. Students will receive an AQF Statement of Attainment showing partial completion of the CUA30920 Certificate III in Music listing the units of competency achieved.
